Thought for the Weekend

No winter lasts forever; no spring skips its turn.

[Hal Borland]

As follow-up to the previous post, here you can compare the size of some of the roses. The pink on the left is Duchesse De Brabant,  the cream-colored roses in the center are Alister Stella Gray, the white in the background is Ducher and the red is Don Juan

  3. /laughs/ that's it, I don't have any other roses so far. I plan on adding two more, but have to find a place for them first.

  6. Oh, roses (sigh), are there any flowers more beautiful than roses? I must admit I do have a special passion for roses. My 8 different roses are far from enough, every time I see another, I feel I need to have that one too!

I am definitely adding a cream or white rose this year, and perhaps another red; I must have another fragrant one, so if I can combine the two then even better, and I would like another climber, and a....OK, OK, you get the picture :-)
Your photo is lovely, an inspiration, can't wait for spring!
