An Orchid close up







This one is called Bletilla ochracea, or Chinese Butterfly Orchid.

This terrestrial orchid grows well in Zone 7 - 9b, likes filtered sunlight and evenly moist soil.

  4. That's a beautiful photo. I grew a bletilla many years ago, but mine was a purple one. It was supposed to be hardy, but mine wasn't.
