walk with me

The back of our yard is well hidden, one has to wander along the garden path to find it.
Bananas, Mango, Papaya, and other fruiting plants grow here.

The Hammock stand soon will be covered by the perennial Morning Glory vine, the perfect spot to relax.

Birds love it here as well, the Feeder house sits next to a small fountain surrounded by river rocks and bromeliads.

Keep walking and on the right you will find a sunken terrace, shaded by Myrtle trees and palms, inviting you to sit for a while and listen to the singing of Cardinals and Mockingbirds.

Here in the back the roses are allowed to ramble as long as they do not block the garden path.

You still have to walk past the upcoming flower bed to arrive at the water garden area, the front part of Myrtle Glen.

Thank you for visiting the hidden part of our garden.
Turn around and look back, the garden is waiting for you to return, you are always welcome to visit.

  1. Your garden is lovely, and how wonderful to have so much fruit at your fingertips. I love these kinds of secluded areas.

  4. HI,
what a lovely area, it looks like organised shabbiness, great! I would love to install a chair and a small table and get lost with a book down there. Looks like you can hide from the world.
