Purple hues

This bromeliad is one of the larger ones in my collection, Neoregelia concentrica cv Bullis.

And the tiny flowers forming a circle in the center, that is it, those are its flowers. It is not the flowers but the leaves with the glowing purple color what makes this bromeliad so stunning.

The Quesnelia marmorata is a slender, vase-shaped bromeliad

The beautiful flower spikes have bright magenta colored bracts with small, bluish-purple flowers.

A Neoregelia 'Sheba' is sitting pretty in the company of caladium, clover, and ferns. No purple here, just my favorite hues of white and green.
