St. Augustine Grass

This type of grass is still the number one choice of the subdivisions in Central Florida. It is a fertilizer and water hog, and comes with a whole bunch of problems. But when keeping on a maintenance schedule, one can get along with it ;-)

Interesting.....

Botanical pesticides are derived directly from plants. Some are even more toxic than some synthetics.
However, botanicals break down rapidly, and do not accumulate in the food chain as synthetics do.
