My favorite corner of the yard is the bromeliad area and with sunshine the plants are glowing.

Is it Springtime yet?
Purple hues
This bromeliad is one of the larger ones in my collection, Neoregelia concentrica cv Bullis.
And the tiny flowers forming a circle in the center, that is it, those are its flowers. It is not the flowers but the leaves with the glowing purple color what makes this bromeliad so stunning.
oak tree decoration
Sunday morning, cleaning out the oak tree and adding a few bromeliads. I believe it looks pretty good now.
Billbergia 'Fantasia'
Beautiful Billbergias, their shape and flowers are so tropical and exotic.
Fantasia's foliage is green with lots of white and hints of rosé . And the neon pink flower buds are such attention grabbers.
Aechmea maculata
What a surprise, my Aechmea maculata, a Bromeliad, started to bloom. I am outside every day, I can't believe I missed it until today
The long inflorescence with the bright hot pink bracts holds a white cone where the flowers will open up soon
Bromeliad Billbergia 'Cold Fusion'
Aechmea Del Mar
Bromeliad Aechmea Del Mar
This bromeliad is a show stopper! the bright blue and hot pink flower spike lasts for months.
Plant it in ground or in pots, it prefers light shade.

close-up of the many flowers of the inflorescence:
A great landscape plant, hardy in Central Florida, it multiplies quickly to form large clumps.
This Bromeliad is a reliable bloomer and it sure is a spectacular show since the plants bloom all at the same time.
