Photo Walk through Myrtle Glen

May is the nicest month of the year for Myrtle Glen, the temperature is just right and the humidity is not too bad. I love the month of May, and I believe my plants do, too 🙂

Lipstick Plant (Aeschynanthus radicans), I keep it in a hanging basket in light shade under a crepe myrtle

Cotton flower (Gossypium hirsutum), the first day the flower starts a creamy white color and over the next 3 days it darkens to a rose-pink.

This dainty canna flower belongs to Canna compacta, ssp. cinnabrina, the dark red leaves in the background are Canna Australia.

The coral flowers of the Porter weed (Stachytarpheta mutabilis) are much-loved by hummingbirds and butterflies

Yellow Oleander (Thevetia neriifolia), this plant has the less commonly apricot colored flowers

And finally, not a flower but a growing fruit, our Mango tree
