Just meandering through Myrtle Glen

So I am meandering through Myrtle Glen, and I keep hearing the coaxing cheep-cheep (or peep-peep?) of the Red Cardinals. I know their kids are out and about, and since they are known to be curious and not at all shy, I keep looking around to find them.

The two young birds hop around in the Myrtles watching me taking pictures of the flowers beneath them, all the while, their parents are trying to lure them away from me.

Orchids are flowering, the whispy fairy vine is blooming, and the Nepenthes have new pitchers

This year the resident Cardinal couple had their nest in the Mango tree. The babies sure grew up fast.
