Herbs that grow well in Myrtle Glen, a garden in central Florida

Nasturdium, garlic chives, rosemary

Since my husband and I love to cook it is important for us to have the freshest herbs possible. Some herbs are short lived like cilantro, and need to be sown in intervals, others grow best in the cooler months, like Parsley.

I have a raised bed for the herbs, but some grow all over the garden like dill and fennel, mainly for the butterflies, or Rue, for its beautiful foliage.
