Lookie what we caught in our trap, a young opossum :D

It is a marsupial (what a fun word) and

It lived during the age of dinosaurs: fossil remains have been found from 70 million years ago.

Is it mean to set up a trap by the compost pile just to be able to see the critters up close?  If so, I can't help it ;)

We stock the trap with lots of yummy fruits, check the trap early in the morning and the critters are released after the photo shoot.
