I am sure the Gardens look different by now, with added gardens and exhibits. Who knows when I will be able to visit Washington DC again :-/

The Desert room in the Conservatory, this one caught my eye, looks like a huge spider coming up from behind the rock /shudder/
Back when we visited , there was a neat glass art exhibition.

Really fabulous place !!! and wonderful photos... Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, and surprisingly similar to Kew Gardens in London. I think these botanical gardens were built in a similar way all over the world as I have seen quite a few that could have been made by the same architect!
ReplyDeleteDa habt ihr was sehr schönes erlebt

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun place to visit! That spider-looking plant is awesomely creepy!
ReplyDeleteWe're in DC every so often, but usually just for a quick pit-stop to see friends while traveling north. Sometime I'd love to stay for longer and see the Botanical gardens!
