I snapped this picture sitting warm in the Viking lounge of the Serenade of the Seas. It's a give and take, me: warm, dry, wine, bad picture, ...
... and hubs: chilled, rained on, no wine, but much better picture
The Nordkapp is about 1,300 miles from the North Pole. Pretty darn close, right? Myrtle Glen is about 4,200 miles from the North Pole, and much much warmer.
After several cocktails and dinner our spousal units had the glorious idea of 'swimming in the Arctic', which they technically did in the Ship's solarium pool and, of course, under the midnight sun.
Today we reached the most northern point in our journey and our Ship is now heading south. The next stop will be in Alesund.
And yes, this is still my 'Dreaming of Cruising' series, with digging through the travel pictures of our Norway cruise last year :-)
